Wheatbelt Community Alcohol and Drug Service

The Wheatbelt Community Alcohol and Drug Service (WCADS) is operated by Holyoake and aims to reduce alcohol and other drug related harm for the people of the Wheatbelt region, through the provision of counselling and support services, targeting individuals, families and the community. 

The main office is based in Northam with branch offices in Narrogin and Merredin. The team provides services for individuals who experience alcohol or other drug issues, as well as family members of the individual. The service can offer individual, family or group counselling.

The team currently has outreach services operating in a number of towns within the Wheatbelt region including Moora, Gingin, York, Goomalling, Wongan Hills, Brookton, Kellerberrin, Wagin and surrounding areas.

How to access our service

People can refer themselves directly or can be referred by other services. This service acknowledges Aboriginal people as the traditional custodians of Western Australia. We are welcoming of all Aboriginal peoples, families and communities.

All services provided are confidential and free of charge

Target Groups

Adults, young people, children and families with or affected by another's drug and alcohol problems.

Entry Requirements

Anyone impacted by alcohol and other drug use can use this service. Referrals may be received from any source by contacting Holyoake’s Wheatbelt Community Alcohol and Drug Service.
