Operating since 1981, Cyrenian House is one of the leading not-for-profit, non-government AOD treatment services in WA. Our mission is to support people suffering from the effects of drug and alcohol use and those affected by the drug and alcohol use of another.

To this end, we offer a comprehensive suite of alcohol and other drug (AOD) prevention, education and treatment services.

Services provided

Non-residential Services - non-residential counselling, education and support for individuals and families impacted by alcohol and other drug issues.
Drug and Alcohol Throughcare Service (DATS) – alcohol and other drug related counselling for individuals pre and post release from prison.
Pathways Program – a cognitive behaviour therapy based program for individuals in a prison setting.
Rick Hammersley Centre and Serenity Lodge Therapeutic Communities - options for individuals seeking to address their alcohol and other drug use in a residential setting.
Saranna Women and Children’s Program – a residential Therapeutic Community treatment option for women with young children in their care.
Cyrenian House Milliya Rumurra (CHMR) - outreach and support for individuals and communities in the West Kimberley regions of the Dampier Peninsula and Bidydanga.
North Metro Community Alcohol and Drug Service (NMCADS) – an integrated service providing alcohol and other drug related counselling, education and medical support for individuals, families and the wider community.
Jigsaw Project – Capacity building and direct service delivery activities regarding co-occurring AOD and mental health issues.
Partner’s In Recovery Program – support for people with severe and persistent mental health issues.

Entry Requirements

A counsellor will assess potential clients. There may be a waiting list for some programs.
