WANDAS is a specialist team based at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), dedicated to caring for women experiencing drug and alcohol issues during pregnancy. The WANDAS team is made up of a number of health professionals including doctors, midwives, social workers, dieticians and mental health professionals.
A pregnancy (antenatal) clinic runs every Friday morning at the East Wing Clinic with a booking clinic on a Wednesday morning where a midwifery-led assessment takes place. Postnatal clinics, for women after their baby has been born, are run on a Wednesday afternoon.
WANDAS will help you and your baby become and stay as healthy as possible during your pregnancy. We will support and care for you and monitor your pregnancy.
