The mission of the WA AIDS Council is to:

- Minimise the impact and further transmission of HIV, sexually transmissible infections and blood borne viruses,

- Reduce social, legal and policy barriers which prevent access to health information and effective support and prevention services.

• Mobile Needle and Syringe Exchange Program: Provides equipment disposal, education and referral. Fixed sites at:
  
  - WA AIDS Council: 664 Murray Street, West Perth. Monday – Friday: 9.00am – 5.00pm
  - Fremantle Xchange: 13 Queen Street, Fremantle. Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 12.00pm – 3.00pm.

• M Clinic: Testing clinic for Gay Men and Men who have sex with men (MSM)
• AIDSLine: Provides information, education and referral (08 9482 0044)
• Training and development for volunteers, Government and Non-Government Organisations, community groups and individual professional bodies.
• Freedom Centre: Peer support and information service for young people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, queer or questioning www.freedom.org.au

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait people
• CaLD
• People from (or who travel to) high prevalence countries
• People who are vulnerable to being infected by HIV, STIs, Hepatitis C and other blood borne viruses
