Hope Community Services - Midwest Services

The Adult Residential Drug and Alcohol program offers a community-based residential program for those seeking drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation. The program offers a caring, non-judgmental environment, where skilled and committed staff deliver quality care and service. Rosella House is currently transitioning to the Therapeutic Community (TC) model of care.

Hope Community Services also manages a house in Geraldton available through the transitional housing and support program (THASP) for those people who have completed the rehabilitation program and are at risk of exiting into homelessness. Ongoing support is a part of the THASP program.

Hope Community Services operates a Youth Bail Options Program house (YBOP) in Geraldton. This program provides a safe and secure home environment for young people aged between 10 and 17 years who are currently on supervised bail. Young people are referred to the programs by the Department of Corrective Services when arrangements with suitable adults cannot be made. HCS provides supported accommodation and a life skills and educational program.

Target Groups

The services provide support for:

• Young people and their families
• Individuals seeking support for problems being experienced through their own alcohol and other drug use
• Individuals who have been identified by the Magistrates Court and are diverted for treatment with an opportunity to address alcohol and other drug issues.
• Individuals in recovery at risk of transitioning into homelessness
