Derby SUC is operated by the Garl Garl Walbu Aboriginal Corporation.
The prime purpose of these centre is to provide a safe, care oriented environment in which persons found intoxicated in public may sober up, reducing the likelihood of them causing further harm to themselves or others in the community.
